From 5 p.m. at the wine bar:
Albrecht Schwegler Winery
The family winery Schwegler, founded in 1990, sets standards in the Remstal in the second generation with ecological cultivation and pioneering innovations. With his distinctive red cuvées, the "Garagier" and founder Albrecht established a wine style that had not previously existed in Germany. Son Aaron follows this approach together with his wife Julia and vinifies red and white top cuvées. The philosophy of the manufactory has remained: with an unconditional pursuit of quality and the certainty that a great wine is always more than the mere sum of its parts. The basis for this is formed by Schwegler's steep, small-scale locations. As a wine grower, Aaron Schwegler arranges a meaningful and enjoyable unit from the fruits of nature year after year. His cuvées are compositions that thrive on their complexity, texture and longevity. For the most part matured in the natural material wood, Schwegler wines are bottled untreated and unfined after a long period of barrel aging with minimal sulfur.
From 5 p.m. at the wine bar:
Wine family Wilhelm Kern
The Wilhelm Kern wine family has been making wine in and around Stuttgart since 1903. The wines are now being made in the 5th generation in the modern winery in Kernen in the Remstal. The on-site vinotheque invites you to taste and linger, and events regularly take place on the spacious estate. The Kern family is looking forward to your visit!
As every year, we support a social project at the Stuttgarter Weindorf. This year there is a very special cooperation with STELP.
Friday, September 8th, belongs completely to STELP in the BW-Bank Kulturlaube including the wine bar. The non-profit café NATAN of the Stuttgart aid organization takes over the bar, while STELP presents their aid project for the construction of an orphanage for babies in Tanzania in a lunch talk and starts a deposit fundraiser for the project.
